Artist's Comments

Sometimes I have do do things that doesn't fit in any concept. So I did a layer-painting in the way as I did it many many years ago, one month work. I do not know whether it is ready or not and the photos and the montage are just a rough but I hope there is something dreamy in this subrealistic or illusionistic output of my brain. :)

five boards à 15 cm x 21 cm
oil and tempera on acrylic gesso

The island of the setting sun by *StephanusEmbricanus is imaginative, flowing dream, full of tears ands and sadness captured on canvas. Frequently one when they paint the dream they do not understand its meaning till it is finished, there is no intent, just soul bared for the world to see, beautiful and pure. (Featured by `sbaraci)

The third panel was the start of the image :) , the colours I'm truly not satisfied with the photo and on the picture not at all, sometimes not so harmonic. When it's dry I'll scan it hope the colours will look better than. Maybe it gets some modifications in a final layer.
Thank you for the comment Sanjana

YEAH!! I do love your old style. The panels are gorgeous - I think my favorite's the last two, especially the connection between the eye & the sun. :sun::heart::sun:
